Title Research (Star wars: A new hope, 1977)

1) How many titles are displayed during the opening sequences to the film?
- 1 title is displayed in the opening sequence.

2) What images are prioritized in the opening sequence?
-The main image prioritized is the space-themed background where is shows the title "Star Wars"

3) What connotations do the images carry?
-It somewhat creates the feeling of adventure, where you are going to explore space.

4) How is genre reinforced through symbolic and technical codes from outset?
-The genre of Adventure is reinforced by the way the front is being brought off the screen. As the text gets further away, one can say they would feel as if they are traveling through space.

5) How does the film establish an enigma from the outset?
-It makes the audience what will happen next in the film as the text is a brief summary of what would happen in the film, kind of like the back of a book.

6) What strategies are used to ensure the film appeals to its target audience.
-As said in question 5, the way the film creator makes the text go away from the screen and the brief summary makes the audience what to find out what happens next.

7) How has technology been  used effectively? You want to consider camera angles, transitions, and editing techniques.
-Camera angles are not used in the portion due to it being only a display screen. However, an example of a transition is the way the text fades away as if it leaving the screen and getting further away.
