Today is Monday, December 2nd 2019. Also, today was the first day back from the Thanksgiving break. Our original plan for the music video was to film on Friday, November 29th, 2019. However, we had to film on Saturday, November 30th, 2019, which being the day after. Also, we changed the main person of the film from me to Alexis. To add on, we also changed the location of the video from my house to his house. The reason was because my step mom worked that day and no body was home but myself. The song, on the other hand, was still the same as before, that being "SAD" by XXXtentacion. Alexis will also do most of the editing due to the fact that its on his computer. Also, he was the one who brought home the camera before the break started.
Unfortunately I was not able to be there for the entire film making because I had to go home, but I was there for most parts of it. Since i had no body to take me there, I had to bike my way to Alexis house because, again, I had nobody to take me there. The trip wasn't too bad, that being only an hour, give or take. Throughout the process of filming, Kaylnl and I took turns filming Alexis. We included many different angles in the film. Examples consist of long shots, medium shots, and even movements such as dutch and tracking shot. The process of filming the actual video took about a total of 3 hours. If i can recall, the times were about 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. I had to leave at around 1 PM because I had to help my dad at home. Therefore, Alexis and Kaylnl finished out the filming process.
The reason we didn't have too much time was because Alexis has to work that day. Also, Kaylnl had to go home as well, from what she told me. At the end of the day, there was about 11 minutes of raw footage, in which was informed to me today. He also broke down the raw footage greatly to where the footage only became 1 minute and 17 seconds. This is good because the video has to be at least 1 minute and 5 seconds long. Hopefully, when we get into editing, we can make the video no shorter than that time limit. I do however feel bad for Alexis since we have to edit and publish the video in 4 days, that being Friday, December 6th, 2019. After that, our last assignment for this music video is the CCR which is due on December 11th, 2019, that being a Wednesday.
